“3 Things You Need to be a Super Hero”

I am just reflecting on the last months theme at Covenant Connections Church Flowery Branch Ga. The theme of the month was entitled “Super Heroes” and it was fabulous. The Lord really ministered to us in a speacial way. I just wanted to tell you about a few things the Lord showed us. I hope it will help you.

We found out that we all have the potential to be Super Heroes! There are only 3 things you need to be a Super Hero, the first thing you need to be a super hero is “a Crisis”. Without a crisis there is no need for a super heroe. I know you were thinking I was going to say you needed strength, or wisdom, or speacial forces but that is not the case. Every Super Hero needs a crisis. You know you never see a super hero arrive until there is a crisis. There is no need for super heroes until there is trouble. If you are facing a crisis right now… don’t give up and don’t give in… realize God is giving you the oportunity to become a Super Hero!!!

The second thing you need to be a super hero is a “Cause”. See a crisis will always give birth to a cause. A reason to fight, a reason to keep going. Without a cause you will lay down and die. King David came to the armies of Israel and looked at Goliath and said “Is there not a cause” to fight this uncircumsized Philistine. He was saying we have a reason to fight. Lets go kill this idiot! There was a crisis that birthed a cause within David to pick up his sling shot and staff and go head to head with someone who was much bigger and “bader” than he was, but we know this was God’s way of revealing to us another Super Hero!

The third thing you need to be a super hero is “Courage”. A crisis will brith a cause, then a cause will produce the courage you need to to step forward and face the giants in your life. These are the three things you need to become a super hero. We all have the potential to become a super hero! Don’t falter in crisis. Don’t forget the cause. Lastly don’t let anything still your courage to keep on fighting!!!
