   I am a bit confused by the message. Did you make the statement that as a believer we should not get to close to God? Was that not the reason Christ died, so that we could approach the Father?

   “The closer you get to somebody the less you think of them. Why? Because you see their faults.”

   This is heresy plain and simple. If God wanted to stay above his children as you implied w/ Moses then He would not have sent his son.

   Lets use good ole logic in the example you used. I am the creator and I want to have relationship with those I have created. I send my son to die for them so that they can have relationship with me. So what I am going to do now is set myself above them and keep my distance from them so that they can not see my faults. Brother (and I use the term loosely), God has no faults.

   I’m going to guess that based on your sermon that you have set yourself up as this type of leader. You have set yourself above those that you are in a position to serve and are accountable to no one. Just a guess but I would bet money on it…
